Michael Wilson
Principal

Michael Wilson is an operations and transformation executive with more than 25 years of experience improving performance across complex service and asset-heavy organisations.

He has led multi-country operations, operating-model transformation, integration and performance recovery across Asia Pacific, with regional P&L accountability and responsibility for service portfolios exceeding A$150 million annually.

His experience includes redesigning an operating model across 18 countries and delivering a 12% cost reduction; mobilising an A$180 million regional services contract across nine countries and 140 employees within three months; and lifting operational KPI compliance to 95% while securing approximately A$20 million in additional capital works.

Michael works with CEOs, COOs and executive teams when growth, integration or transformation is creating friction across business functions. He helps clarify priorities, strengthen decision-making and accountability, improve organisational interfaces, and establish the management cadence required to convert strategy into sustained performance.

His approach combines practical operating leadership with systems thinking and a deep understanding of the human dynamics that determine whether organisational change succeeds.

Michael holds an Executive Master of Change from INSEAD and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney. He is based in Sydney and works across Asia Pacific.
